Etching Studio

Etching Studio established by Lawrence Jenkins in 1986 when Lawrence bought a Harry Rochat press. The Studio is situated on a farm just to the north of the A25 between Seal and Kemsing. Lawrence editions for artists and at present editions prints for Graham Clarke. Lawrence has printed for many artists including Andrew Freeth, John Lessor, Leon Kossof, and Ronney Wood. The studio is large enough for seven etchers to use at a time. Thursday lunch time is a good time to visit to see the studio in use. Alternatively visit the studio during South East Open Studios to see the work of the etchers who frequently use the studio. Any other time needs to be arranged with Lawrence.
Courses in making etching plates and techniques of printing are run on a regular basis on Wednesday and Thursday.

Look for Lawrence Jenkins or Seal Chart Studio. There are few private three day courses run by Lawrence Jenkins during the holidays or half-term. Lindy Webster runs Saturday courses on the 1st & 3ed Saurday of the Month.
